Toddler General Conference Activities – Velcro on popsicle sticks

Super fun toddler activity: Velcro popsicle sticks. Put velcro on both ends of popsicle sticks, then use them to make shapes, letters, and more.

I got the idea for Velcro popsicle sticks from Chasing Cheerios. I made these popsicle sticks by hot gluing the soft Velcro on end of each popsicle stick and hot gluing the sticky Velcro on the other end of each popsicle stick. Smiley uses these fun Velcro popsicle sticks to create all kinds of shapes and designs.

I did not use sticky back Velcro dots (which would have been way easier) for this because I already had some sew on Velcro that I needed to get rid of. Luckily, Smiley Man still loves these. If you do use the Velcro dots though, I would suggest using jumbo popsicle sticks.

Preschool General Conference Activities – Clothespin Clip Cards

I made these clothespin clip cards especially for General Conference. Just cut out the cards, count how many objects there are on each card, and clip a clothespin on the correct number.

I tried to have pictures that were somewhat relevant to General Conference, but this ended up being a bit more difficult than I expected. Instead I just found objects that were relevant to home, love, family, and nature. If you have a second or two, you can sneak in a little discussion about God’s creations and how family is the most important thing.
